Oracle | Primavera Software Training – P6 Project Manager Fundamentals for Construction Projects

Working with longtime Oracle | Primavera Business Partner Stenstrom Group Inc, we are pleased to offer this 2-day training for effective scheduling and project management techniques using P6.  The software is widely used in the construction industry to achieve accurate, analytical project planning, management, execution, and control. Attendees will learn techniques for scheduling and managing projects more accurately using CPM schedule logic, and how to find the best solution to unforeseen, real-world changes that can challenge on-time delivery of your company’s projects.

Upon completion of the course, attendees will be able to:

·         Define calendars, resources, and activity codes

·         Organize the project with activity codes or outline

·         Understand & apply Constraints

·         Cost and Resource-load the schedule

·         Update the Project Schedule

·         Design & use Layouts and Filters

·         Configure and Print Reports and Report Series

Attendees will receive:

·         Custom class workbook / reference manual

·         Certificate of Completion signed by Oracle | Primavera Certified Business Partner

(required for compliance by many Department of Defense contract)

Required: minimum two years construction experience, with a working knowledge of  project scheduling and solid Windows computer skills.

Recommended: P6 Intro  class, or at least one year using Primavera P3, SureTrak, or Microsoft Project.
